Wifi merk senao outdor dengan type EOC-3220, atau yang sejenis yang tidak dilengkapi tombol reset pada hardwarenya, cukup merepotkan kalau terjadi hang atau ada masalah konfigurasi atau administrator wifi lupa akan ip untuk konfigurasi, satu-satunya jalan hanya menggunakan port RS-232 (COM 1), nah ini deh Cara Mereset Senao EOC/NOC 3220 EXT :
- Cari kabel modem serial dengan connector RS-232 female pada dua sisinya.
- Buka baut yang menutup port serial pada wifi anda dan colokkan connector yang anda miliki dan disatu sisi colokkan ke port com1 pc anda.
- Gunakan menu Hyper terminal bagi anda pengguna windows 98, 2000, xp dengan cara klik Start, -Program, -Accessories, -Communications, -HyperTerminal.
- Buat koneksi baru dan isi dengan nama terserah anda.
- Pilih port COM sesuaikan dengan port com pc yang anda gunakan.
- Set baud rate pada 38400, data bits 8, parity none, stop bits 1, flow control none.
- setelah terbuka jendela ketik “OK” tekan enter.
- tunggu beberapa saat sampai muncul tanda # pada jendela terminal.
- setelah muncul # ketik flash reset tekan enter.
- Setelah itu ketik reboot dan tekan enter.
- Kalau tidak ada kesalahan maka konfigurasi wifi senao anda kembali seperti saat anda baru beli dari toko.
